Capturing the terroir of Rutherford, this vineyard sits on well drained volcanic soil. Zippy red currant notes lead the charge followed by cherry, sassafras, and sage. Having been aged for 4 years in the cellar before being released to market softened out the tannins perfectly giving the wine a luxurious palate.
